Aged Care Murray

Why consider aged care in Murray

Australia’s greater Murray region is named for the river that forms most of the border between NSW and Victoria. In addition to the city of Albury-Wodonga, the area includes the river towns of Corowa, Cobram, Echuca and Swan Hill – as well as nearby centres such as Balranald, Deniliquin and Holbrook. Beyond the river itself and the agricultural lands it irrigates, the Murray region is bursting with restaurants, boutique hotels, heritage sites and national parklands. It is also served by the Murray Primary Health Network, which identifies aged care as a priority area, and the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. There are numerous aged care facilities throughout, such as the community-based Murray Haven Homes.
