Aged Care Riverina

Why consider aged care in Riverina

Centred on the Murrumbidgee River, the Riverina region of NSW is famous for its agriculture, supplying over 25% of NSW’s fruit and vegetables. Perhaps surprisingly though, aged and health care is actually the area’s largest employment sector. While Griffith and Wagga Wagga are the major cities of the region, it reaches across townships as far as Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra, Gundagai, Hay, Junee, Leeton, Narrandera, Temora and Tumut. There are a particularly wide range of nursing homes in Wagga Wagga, though the entire area is well-catered for by the Murrumbidgee Local Health District and aged care services.
