Why consider aged care in Gold Coast

The Gold Coast, with its metropolitan services, unlimited recreational possibilities, sandy beaches and picturesque canals, has long been attractive to seniors and retirees. It’s well-served by hospitality outlets, from pubs and seafood shacks to cocktail bars and fine dining. Add a subtropical climate boasting around 300 sunny days a year and what’s not to enjoy? Nursing homes and aged care on the Gold Coast are numerous too – serving residents from the state border at Coolangatta through Surfers Paradise and Southport to the northern localities of Yatala and Pimpana. The area contains two hospitals with 24-hour emergency care – the Gold Coast University Hospital at Southport, and Robina Hospital – with more hospitals and health centres dotted throughout the region.
