Design award for Queensland Carinity aged care home
Not For Profit aged care provider Carinity has won a Queensland Master Builders Housing and Construction Award for its $32 million home, The Residences at Brownesholme.
Built by Paynters, the 96-bed home, which was opened last year next to the existing Carinity Brownesholme retirement village, won the Community Accommodation for Aged Care and Nursing Homes category of the 2022 Downs and Western Housing and Construction Awards.
The Residences at Brownsholme is themed after a country homestead, and features country bric-a-brac; courtyards and gardens; and lounges with their own fireplaces.
“Paynters provided an end-to-end solution for Carinity, from initial master planning and in-house architectural services, all the way through to the engagement of our Interior Design team. The results are truly stunning.
This is the fourth aged care home Paynters has built for Carinity.
